Focus

Sakeco: Journal of Language, Culture, and Education Studies aims to promote scholarly dialogue and knowledge production in language, culture, and education by fostering interdisciplinary research; disseminating innovative findings in language learning, teaching, and assessment; encouraging critical discussions on cultural diversity, intercultural communication, and identity; supporting theory-informed educational practices and policies; and providing an international forum for academic exchange among scholars from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.


Scope

The journal publishes original, high-quality research articles covering, but not limited to: first and second language acquisition; bilingualism and multilingual education; language teaching methodologies and pedagogy; multicultural and culturally responsive education; language policy and planning; intercultural communication and discourse studies; literacy and language education; educational theories, curriculum development, and instructional practices; translation and interpretation studies; language assessment and testing; digital technologies and innovation in language education; sociolinguistics; and studies on language ideologies, identity, and power relations.


Types of Contributions

The journal accepts research articles (original empirical or theoretical studies), review articles (critical analyses of current research trends), book reviews, discussion notes (short scholarly or conceptual reflections), and translated articles of significant academic value.
