Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscript Template
  2. Mendeley Guidelines
  3. EndNote Guidelines
  4. Zotero Guidelines
This article format provides the main guidelines for authors; every manuscript must be accompanied by a cover letter declaring that it is not a duplicate publication. Indonesian authors are required to upload articles on the Supplementary File in two languages (Indonesian & English). Proofread is released to the author by showing a certificate from professional English editing and proofreading services in the Supplementary File.

The article should be written in paper size A4, double-spaced after paragraphs, single column, font type Garamond, font size 11, and a margin of 2 cm.

The manuscript should consist of not more than 6.000 words and 8 figures/tables.

A review of the article is conducted to determine whether the article meets the standard of quality criteria to be published. Manuscript will be directly rejected by editors without giving any formal reviews if: 1) the topic is not suitable for the scope of the journal, 2) the results are less beneficial, 3) the scope and purpose are not deeply formulated, 4) the findings do not improve the scientific knowledge, or 5) the article is not written entirely.  Reviewers will review eligible manuscripts for 2 weeks, and their notes will be delivered to authors 3 weeks after the first submission. Authors should send the article revision to the editor a week after receiving the reviewers' notes.

The manuscript should have clear numbering in every section.

Mathematical formulas should be created using Microsoft Equation Editor. Variables are italicised.

The figure caption must be put in every figure/illustration. Caption is written separately, not attached to the figure/illustration.

Table numbering is adjusted to the location in the article. Tables should be used effectively; they should not be used to repeat results in the presentation chapter of results and discussion.

The title should be clear, brief and informative. Abbreviations and formulas should be avoided. The author's identity should be provided in full, including name, institution address, postal code, telephone number, mobile phone number, facsimile number, and email address.

Abstract should be written briefly and factually in English. The abstract clearly elaborates the research purpose, methods, results, and conclusion. Abstract should be written separately from the article. References should not be written in the abstract, but if they are indispensable, the authors' names and publication years should be cited. Nonstandard abbreviations should be avoided, but if they are essential, the full name should be specified in its initial mention.

The introduction contains the article's/research's purpose, is formulated and presented adequately, and avoids detailed references and the presentation of research results.

Methods used should be accompanied by references, and relevant modifications should be explained. The procedure and data analysis techniques should be emphasised in the literature review article.

Results and Discussion should be presented in the same part, clearly and briefly. The discussion part should contain the benefit of the research result, not repeat the result part. The results and discussion can be combined into a single section to avoid extensive quotation.

The research conclusion is presented briefly in the conclusion section.

References in the article should cite the last name and year. If citing multiple authors, order them by the most recent reference. If citing an article by two authors, all authors' names should be cited. Meanwhile, if citing an article by three or more authors, it is cited by writing the first author's name followed by et al. Citation should be written in the reference part. Every cited reference should be written entirely in the reference part. Unpublished reference is not suggested to be cited in the article. References should be written according to the format of references. This journal requires a minimum of 50 references, with 80% from reputable international journals published in the last 10 years.
The manuscript is written without a hyphen (-), except for repeated words. Symbols α, β are created from an insert program without changing the type of fonts. The article acceptance or rejection notification will be given a month after article submission. Manuscript is rejected if the material is not suitable for the scope of the journal, has poor quality, does not follow the writing format, contains complicated language, is not original research or is unresponsive to correspondence.
