Rajangbasa: Journal of Community Service and Engagements

Rajangbasa: Journal of Community Service and Engagement is an academic journal dedicated to publishing and disseminating scholarly works derived from community service, community engagement, and empowerment initiatives. The journal provides a forum for academics, researchers, practitioners, and community activists to share research findings, service models, and best practices aimed at strengthening community capacity and fostering sustainable social transformation.

The journal publishes both textual and fieldwork-based studies using multidisciplinary perspectives. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, law, economics, social affairs, philosophy, history, mysticism, art, theology, science, communication, and education. Through these diverse approaches, Rajangbasa promotes innovation, applied research, and participatory methods that address real societal challenges and advance community empowerment practices.

Originally intended as a platform for documenting institutional community service programs, the journal has expanded to welcome contributors from various national and international institutions. This development has enriched scholarly discourse and enhanced the journal’s academic and practical relevance in community engagement studies.

Committed to continuous improvement, Rajangbasa upholds high standards in academic quality, writing format, and publication ethics through a rigorous peer-review process. The journal positions communities as the central focus of inquiry—not merely as beneficiaries, but as active partners in development and empowerment processes.

Rajangbasa is published quarterly, appearing four times a year in March, June, September, and December. The journal is managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and is accessible online at https://ejournal.arkamitra.id/index.php/rajangbasa.
